Club Description:
Amnesty International is a worldwide humanitarian movement that promotes and defends human rights. It works independently of all government and political ideologies to secure the release of prisoners of conscience (anyone imprisoned because of their race, religion, or political views). We strive to ensure fair and prompt trials for political prisoners, and end torture, politics killings, disappearances and the death penalty.

This school year, the John Stark Amnesty Chapter plans to continue letter writing campaigns, and further awareness in the community. We are a student led group who are passionate about the safety of all peoples.
