PARKING AND DRIVING EXPECTATIONS

Students who have a valid driver's license, parent permission and parking pass may drive a vehicle to school and park on school property. Every vehicle parked on school property must display a current John Stark parking sticker and each driver must have a parking contract on file in the Main Office. Only currently registered, insured and inspected on-road vehicles may be driven to school (any exceptions tot his must be pre-approved by administration). Students must park in the designated areas assigned to them and parking in spaces reserved for visitors is prohibited.

All drivers are expected to observe rules of caution in parking lots and around school buses. Failure to operate a vehicle safely or responsibly on school property will result in suspension of all parking privileges.

Due to parking space constraints, parking contracts and stickers will be issued/sold to Seniors first, then to underclassmen . Misuse or illegal transfer of a parking pass will result in loss of parking privilege and other possible consequences. Vehicles without valid parking permits or vehicles parked illegally may be towed at the owner's expense.
